His work
Dulk (Valencia, Spain, 1983)
2024, Valencia
Acrylic on canvas, 116.08 x 193.04 cm.
Dulk creates a dreamlike universe where animals and impossible landscapes highlight the relationship between human beings and nature. His works denounce the fragility of ecosystems and the consequences of human activity, such as the forced migration of species and the transformation of the landscape. It forms part of the curatorial area Irony, critique and subversion, as it warns about the climate crisis and invites reflection on collective responsibility.
The perspective it brings to the collection:
We have added Dulk to the collection because of the power of his symbolic and dreamlike imagery, where animals and impossible landscapes invite reflection on the fragility of nature and human impact. His compositions, poetic and detailed, highlight environmental issues and collective responsibility. His technique is impeccable, with a rigorous mastery of drawing and painting that enhances the conceptual discourse of the works. Dulk thus brings a distinctive visual voice that enriches the collection, developing a committed and evocative visual language.
